Our experienced team creates flexible and cost-effective leasing options for aircraft packages.

A dry lease is a leasing arrangement whereby an aircraft financing entity or a lessor provides an aircraft without insurance, crew, ground staff, supporting equipment, maintenance, etc. Dry lease is typically used by leasinAircraft bannerg companies and banks, requiring the lessee to put the aircraft on its own AOC and provide aircraft registration. A typical dry lease starts from two years onwards and bears certain conditions with respect to depreciation, maintenance, insurances, etc., depending also on the geographical location, political circumstances, etc.
Dry leasing is a type of lease that gives the operational responsibility to the lessee.

Finance Leasing

All financial benefits and risks are effectively acquired without actually acquiring legal title. The leasing rate is computed to collect the full value of the asset during the contract period. At the end of the lease, the asset is sold to a third party a share of the sale proceeds can be received (if the lease is not being extended). Usually, one is not able to become the owner of the asset at any time – unless a private arrangement is made within the contact. However, one generally has the option to extend their lease and as they will have paid for almost the full value during their initial lease period, the rental payments for subsequent periods will be minimum..

Operating Lease

ften with a shorter time frame than financial leasing, operating leasing is more like a regular rental. The lessor expects to be able to either sell the asset in the second-hand market or to lease it again and will therefore not need to recover the total asset value through lease payments. There may also be an option to extend the leasing period at the end. As with finance leases, you will not be able to become owner of the asset at any time but, contrary to financial leases, you will not share in the sale proceed.
Sale and leaseback – An owner sells the aircraft and leases it back from the buyer. Legal ownership of the aircraft passes to the leasing company/buyer but the right to use it stays with the original owner.

We can offer a product that combines ACMI lease, third party ancillary support services and the operating lease.

We work directly with the Lessee to ensure that their personnel obtain applicable type ratings on the aircraft. Lessee personnel will gradually be introduced to operate the aircraft. After a limited time the Lessee will be in a position to operate the aircraft on a dry lease basis while on-going maintenance support can be given if required.
